Epson V700 w/ SilverFast SE Plus 8.5

i am using epson v700 and jst upgrade the silverfast se plus 8.5 from silverfast SE 6.

i have a few question hope can figure it out in here. tks in advance

In the Silverfast SE 6, there has an icon to set the scanning sequence "from top to down, left to right" , "from top to down, right to left", etc. Is this function still available in Silverfast SE Plue 8.5?

More, at the "scan dimensions" dialog, a pull down menu for choose the preset ppi (600,300,225 ppi, etc). When i scan my negative film & choose "48 --> 24 bit" output format, i can't set the ppi in manual, even i choose the preset in "Custom".
I try to adjust the "Res." bar to 2400ppi and type "2400" in the ppi box. But it still CANNOT change to "custom (2400ppi)".
Any step i am missing? pls advise me.

Dear Lux,

The feature to influence the numbering is currently not yet available.
But it is planned to include such an option in a future update.

When setting the resolution please check the scaling/zoom factor in the tool's expert settings.
The preset and zoom determine the scan resolution.
The actual scan resolution is shown by the slider.
