I am out to purchase a replacement flatbed scanner for my now unsupported HP Scanjet 5P scanner (never used for photos, but as a regular scanner for every day needs).
Currently I have purchased SilverFast Archive Suite Version 8 (Nikon LS 5000ED / Super Coolscan 5000 ED) for use with Mac OSX 10.10 and also have the Nikon Super Coolscan 5000 ED scanner.
I am looking at purchasing an Epson Perfection V750 scanner which I believe comes with SilverFast Ai 6.
What software package would I need to purchase or upgrade to so that I can use both scanners on the same computer.
Thank you
Matthew Romer

Re: Purchasing additional scanner
Dear Mr Romer,
You can upgrade to any SilverFast 8 SE, SE Plus or Ai Studio version.
Your existing SilverFast serial will provide a discount.
Which version you need depends on the material you are scanning and if you require advanced settings or IT8 calibration.
In case you plan to scan transparencies I suggest using at least a SE Plus.
For IT8 calibration and advanced tools you need the Ai Studio.
Kind regards,
Arne Ketelhohn.
