Hello out there!
Does anyone know if it's OK to scan upside down? I.e I was going to build a secure platform that could support the scanner and physically turn the whole machine upside down, so what I want to scan is the 'right' way up. I have a microtec 9800XL
I obviously don't want to break my precious machine but want to try out an idea.
Thanks!

Re: scanning upside down
Dear customer,
We so far have not turned our 9800XL on it's top.
So I can not say if it works.
You might want to check out sites about scanography.
There is at least one woman who is scanning her Gaarden with an upside down EPSON device.
(Unfortunately I do not remember her name.)
You might find some help on http://scannography.org/ .
But you should ask the manufacturer if it is save to turn the scanner around.
Kind regards,
Arne Ketelhohn
