Kodachrome slides rendering towards blue-purple

I have a new OpticFilm 8100 running Silverfast 8.2 (6.2.0r3).

The slides date from 1959 onwards, with a few Ektachrome and others but mostly Kodachrome.
I have found that most of the slides appear to render greens as blues, and yellows are desaturated.
I have played with the colour adjustments but the results are not satisfactory.

It is unlikely that this is unique. I would welcome advice.

Dear customer,

This is a widely known effect regarding Kodachromes.

SilverFast Se Plus and Ai studio offer a special Kodachrome mode to compensate for the effect.
Make sure it is active when scanning Kodachromes.

Additionally you can use the Pipette tool to remove any remaining color cast.
Open the Pipette tool and select the neutral grey pipette.
Then klick on an area in the image which should be neutral grey (e.g. stone, pavement, folds in clothing, etc.).
This should be done after executing the image automatic.

Kind regards,
Arne Ketelhohn.

I seem to have got the hang of it. Each slide needs a bit of tickling it seems.
Thanks for your help.

Dear customer,

in the Genreal tab you can find the Pos/Neg: selector. For supported devices you can find the Kodachrome mode here too.

Kind regards,
