Which software to buy?

Mac OS x 10.9.4. - Scanner: Epson V700 - Current SilverFast: SE 8
My primary need is to scan my father's old photographs, slides, & negatives to archive them. Two-thirds are black/white. I do not want to spend time adjusting each photo since there are so many, but will want to adjust some images in the future. I am a beginner. What software would you recommend?

Dear customer,

The Archive Suite (SE) would be the right choice for you.

It allows you to quickly scan your images into 64 Bit HDRi (color) and 48 Bit HDR (B&W) archive files.

These are saved fast without processing.
(The only exception to this is Multi-Exposure which has to be done right away.)

The archive Files later can be loaded into SilverFast HDR (Studio).
There you can brows your images and decide which you would like to process further.

The SilverFast Archive Suite bundle consists of SilverFast Ai Studio and SilverFast HDR Studio.

The SilverFast Archive Suite SE bundle consists of SilverFast SE Plus and SilverFast HDR.

kind regards,
