LaserSoft Imaging

Help - I just loaded Silverfast 8 on my Mac and no matter where I look, there seems to be only scant information about how to use the software. My first scans are so dark, they are useless - the software will not provide me with access to the tools to modify the image - it's like there is no way to do anything with the software except scan something and take what you get. A full user manual would be great - where do I find the documentation?

Dear customer,

You probably have selected one of the 16/32/48/64 Bit HDR(i) raw archive file formats.
These are changed without any adjustments which is why they look dark and the tools are disabled.
Try using 48->24 bit.
