Multiple scans to reduce noise?

Postby DrStrik9 » Fri Jun 21, 2013 10:30 pm

I'm just now evaluating Ai Studio 8 for purchase. There are many things I like about it. I've been using v. 6.6 for a long time.

One of the features 6 has is multiple scans of the same image to reduce noise in the shadows. 1, 2, 4, 8, and 16 scans can be requested, which are "merged" into one final image.

Is this feature available in v. 8? -- If so, then where do I find this setting? -- If not, why not?

Thanks! :-)

Dear customer,

Multi Sampling/Scan has been replaced with the more advanced Multi-Exposure in version 8.
Multi-Exposure not only offers better noise reduction but also enhances the dynamic range of images.
And it does so with only one additional scan.

kind regards,
