Use of the Archive function when scanning B&W negatives

Postby opticalreflex » Wed May 29, 2013 3:30 am

What is the function of the Archive setting in the "Task" dropdown? Is it for quickly saving a scan so that it can be pulled up and edited later, or does it have some other function

Dear customer,

The "archive" setting saves unprocessed images into our 48/64 bit HDRi archive format.
These images need to be processed in SilverFast HDR (Studio) first to become usable.

kind regards,
Arne Ketelhohn.
