getting rid of scanned image

Running Silverfast 8 SE, plustek scanner. I can't figure out how to get rid of a scanned image once it is scanned; no delete or similar option. How do I do this?
Dear customer,
the scanned file is a normal image file on your harddisk.
Or did you mean the preview?
That is replaced when you perform a new prescan.
