Hello!
I am scanning black and white negatives. Whereas I have been impressed by the power of iSRD on slides and colour negatives, I am disappointed at the very limited efficiency of SRD. I am using settings of Detection 60, Defect size 7 and Intensity 100, yet both small dust dots and bigger blemishes remain. Any suggestions as to how I could obtain better results? Since I am a newcomer to Siverfast, have I overlooked something?

Re: SRD seems ineffective
Dear customer,
SRD must be individually set for each image.
There are no general settings which would fit other images too.
For some images masking might be required.
This allows to exclude delicate image structures from correction or to apply a stronger correction to certain image areas.
kind regards,
Arne Ketelhohn.
