Dock disappears

Hello!
When SF8 SE is processing an image, my dock and special toolbar disappear. I have to click on the work space for them to reappear. Is this normal?
I am using the latest versions of Mountain Lion, Canoscan 9000F and SF8 SE.

Dear customer,
No, there are no such issues known.
Nobody else has reported any similar behavior and our own Macs also do not behave like this.
Make sure you did not activate the "auto hide and show" option in the Dock options.

Hello!
Thank you for your reply. I cannot find a "dock preferences" panel. Where is it? My "Preferences" panel only has General, CMS and Special.

That is not a SilverFast option.
You need to look into the option of the dock itself.
When you right-click on the dashed line on the dock you get a menu with the "Dock Preferences" option.
