Hello!
This is my first post. I am using SF 8.0 SE on a Canoscan 9000F to digitalise family slides and negatives. I have been using it for a week and am beginning to get the hang of things. I do miss a proper user manual.
When I use USM, is it possible to just click on the USM button and, to save time, not bother to preview?
My old slides are all pretty soft. It is hard to judge whether the scan has benefited or not from USM.
Thank you in advance for your help!

Re: USM: is preview obligatory?
The USM should be previewed to check the influence on the image.
But with enough experiance you can use it without a preview.
kind regards,
Arne Ketelhohn.
