SF SE8 - Epson V700 - Max input size smaller than scan area

My Epson V700 can scan up to 21cm x 29.7cm (8.27" × 11.69"), but the maximum [Input] size I can specify is 20.32cm x 25.39cm (8" x 10") ... Why

Dear customer,
The scan are is slightly smaller than the glas plate.
Especially the transparency modes do not offer the full area.
SilverFast offers the scan area the way the driver provides it.
It will vary depending on scan mode.
