V600 problems with Siverfast

Hello,
I have the problem that when I start the prescan Silverfast gives me the message "warming up lamp". Then nothing happens - sometimes the error light on the scanner lights up. When I try to prescan again the error message "scanner not ready" appears. It must be related to silverfast because when I use the epson software the scanner works.

Dear Dirk,

Please make sure the calibration area at the beginning of the scan plane (towards the hinges) is not blocked.
Also make sure you tested Epsonscan in the same scanmode (transparency/reflective, resolution, etc.).
Because that message comes directly from the scanner.
