cant calibrate my scanner

hello im new to ai software and the whole scanner world.. im a screen printer and im trying to calibrate my new v750 . i put the it8 card on the scanner then scan it but it says cannot find barcode. there is no barcode on the picture. how do i calibrate it without the barcode... my pic date is monr2007:03-01 version2 thanks albie

Dear Albie,

The Epson V750 is shipped with targets from X-Rite / Monaco Color you have to obtain the required reference file from them.
Please be aware that the file must be a clear-text .txt file.
Some of the reference files from X-Rite are only available in a proprietary file format which is only usable with their software.
In that case you would have to use their software for calibration and select the created profile in SilverFast's CMS settings.
Alternatively you can order on of our targets form or shop.
then you can use the automatic calibration.
