Hi
I am using the bundled Silverfast software that came with the Epson V650 to scan reflective old printed photographs.
A few questions:
1. Will reflective scanning benefit from MultiScan? I can't tell the different between 1 pass and 4 passes when scanning reflectives. Is MultiScan intended for film only (negatives and positives)?
2. I thought about upgrading to SilverFast Studio version because of the Multi Exposure function. Is Multi Exposure intended for film only (negatives and positives)? I scan mainly reflectives. I have the same question on AACO - is it for film only (and not reflectives)?
3. If I upgrade to Silverfast Studio, will the software recognize the capabilities of my scanner (ICE, etc)? (I'm not sure if the bundled version of SIlverfast that came with my scanner was made specifically for the Epson V750 and so it knows the capabilities of my scanner. So If I buy the "generic" version of SIlverfast Studio, do I need to "program" the software with the capabilities of the Epson V750?)
Thanks,
Brian

you always need to order the SilveeFast Version for the Scanner that you are actually using as we do optimise each scanner specificly.
So you do not need to set up something in SilverFast to let it recognise the features of the scanner.
