Scanning Sleeved Negs

Hi,
I just bought a V750. I'm currently trying to scan an 8x10 sleeve of negatives as a contact sheet (15 frames of 645 in a Printfile sleeve, the size of the whole plastic sheet is 8x10). The sleeve is held flat by the glass carrier that came with the scanner. Due to the large amount of black on in the scan (edges of the film, areas between negatives), the preview is really cyan and I haven't been able to correct it. If I select a single frame, the colors across the whole sheet normalize. So I can see what the whole thing would look like if I was able to scan it without the auto-correction, but I'm not able to get anywhere near normal color when I select the whole sheet.
I've looked through the manual, tried to find information on setting the black point, and played with it a lot. Are there any solutions to wanting to scan the whole sheet of negs so as to use it like a contact sheet?
Thanks. RMC.
