Hi
I have the bundled version of Silverfast Ai from my Epson v750. Unfortunately I found out that HDR studio is not part of it so I downloaded the Demo to try it out. When I'm scanning in 64 HDR Color mode it end up as an image that is "negative". I am scanning color negatives and making all the right settings in Silverfast Ai and in the preview its showing in the right "positive" way.
The scanned image (which looks like a negative) still stays the same way after processing through HDR Studio. When I looked at the tutorial video I saw that the image should be "positive" the whole time. What am I doing wrong?

Dear lolaluna,
You are using 64 bit HDRi mode which creates raw files from your originals, it means unmodified files (positivation does not take place).
When opening the files in HDR you should switch to negative mode, then in the NegaFix window you must choose your scanner model and film type.
Cheers

Great, thanks for the quick answer! I thought in the video the scanning was done in 64 as well but I guess it was 48 then and thats why it was positive.

Hi lolaluna,
Well, actually this also applies to 48 bit HDR mode, because also here a raw file is generated.
