Epson V750 HDRi Limited To Film Holders?

Postby tgphoto » Thu Dec 24, 2009 1:54 am

I am working on scanning some old 3.25"x5" negatives from 1920, using Silverfast Ai Studio 6.6.1r4a and an Epson Perfection V750-M Pro scanner with an Apple PowerMac G5 running OSX 10.4.11.

We are wet mounting these using the supplied Fluid Mount Accessory.

It seems I cannot select 64-bit HDRi as an option.

Is there any way to use HDRi when the Original setting is set to Transparency (full area)?

Thanks!

Dear tgphoto,

The DRi Option is only available in the normal transparency option.
The infrared sensor of the V750 only scans the area given in the normal transparency mode.
The area outside this scanning strip is scanned using a prism system which can not be used for the iSRD correction.

kind regards
