I see there were requests last year for support for this scanner. Is there an update?

Also, does anyone know how I can make the scanner scan a positive slide larger than the 1.9 x 1.75 inches as set by the epson twain driver(5.54E).

I am interested in scanning 2 1/4 and 3 inch slides. They will fit under the included Transparency unit but the driver forces a maximum of the above.

Epson Perfection 1250 and SilverFast Ai / SE

The Epson Prefection 1250 belongs to the line of one-chip scanners. Regretably these scanners do not follow the general Epson commend set. Currently we are still waiting to get development information from Epson to be able to support these scanners.

In the meantime, if the Epson driver would allow to scan into raw data (48 bit tif file), you could use SilverFast HDR and have all the functions of SilverFast available without any loss of quality.
