I just bought a Epson 2450 scanner which comes with SilverFast 5.5. What is the setting for scanning slides - is it Transparency and Positive film?

Arul,

That is correct. Also, be sure to read the manual and play with the various settings to get the best scans. Silverfast can be somewhat intimidating at first, but it's well worth learning. Once you figure out what everything does, you'll realize what an incredible program it is. Feel free to ask any questions you may have on this forum.
