hello!
I am trying to scan the negatives. I see perfect colors on prescan, however, the colors in the just opened TIFF scan in photoshop the colors are extremely different: they are duller, brighter and with less contrast (and there is more blue in them). Any reasons about what am I doing wrong, please?
also, is there any troubleshooting FAQ for newbies like me? I have more questions, unfortunately :( meanwhile using EpsonScan, but I was told that much better results (why better was not clarified, but I still wanna try) might be achieved by using SilverFast.
thanks!

Re: wrong colors while scanning
Dear breakphreak,
the difference of colors between SilverFast preview and Photoshop obviously is not correct...
Did you check the Color Profile settings ?!
By default SilverFast should deliver "Adobe RGB" as working Colorspace, if Photoshop is setup differently or is offering a prompt how to procede and you answer this incorrectly a strong color drift could be explained...
