1) What does Lasersoft suggest for color negative scanning (as a rule of thumb). I usually select multiexposure - but I'm not sure if I'm missing out by doing that.
2) Any hands-on experience from users would also be very appriciated

I have seen much better results using Multi-exposure and as a bonus it is also much faster.
