V 6.5.5r5 ME VERY GRAINY SCANS Epson V700

Postby semperego » Sat May 03, 2008 4:50 pm

Silverfast V 6.5.5r5 with Multi-Exposure Enhanced produces EXTREMELY grainy images on an Epson V700. Using native Epson twain the images are OK. At best I am disappointed with this quite expensive upgrade to an inferior product! Does anyone else have this problem and is there a solutiuo to it?

That's interesting. I don't find that to be the case at all with my V750.

I would be surprised if MultiExposure would produce grainy images on any scanner. I would rather opt for some setting causing the trouble. Did you try resetting to factory defaults ? Please go to Options and choose Option parameters --> load factory settings.

Best,

JAN
