LaserSoft Imaging

Hi I am trying to scan pan radiographs and regardless of where the film is placed in the scanner I get a horizontal band that runs the full length of the film. Since it occurs regarless of film placement I think it is likely a software issue. Does anyone have a suggestion which may resolve this issue.

Is the band in the same location regardless of where you place the film, or does it move with the film?

If you suspect the software you can give "Epson Scan" a try. If the lines are not there with "Epson Scan" I recommend double checking your SilverFast settings and perhaps removing the "Prefs" as described the LaserSoft FAQ's.
