LaserSoft Imaging

I am using an Epson 4870 scanner and SilverFast Ai6 with latest updates. My Windows version is XP with all the latest updates. If I execute SilverFast and the scanner is off, the system reboots. This occurs both inside and outside of Photoshop. If I do the same with Epson software I get a warning message with a diagnostic.

Hello Nino, I am using the same version of Windows and this does not happen to me, so I think this is an issue for LaserSoft technical support. Complete an online support form and it would be nice if you let us know what the solution turned out to be if it is SilverFast related.
