LaserSoft Imaging

I'm attempting to use digital ice with some old color photos (3x4") and an Epson 4990 with Silverfast SE (latest upgrade 6.4.3...). I get a message that digital ice can't be used with B&W photos. Doesn't make any sense to me. The photos scan normally if I just leave the digital ice off. What's going on here? Is digital ice supported in the SE version?

The message is a little confusing, but if you dismiss it and continue you will see that Digital ICE will work. This is of course assuming that you do not have the "Scan Type" set to B&W.
