HI there,
New here so forgive if I trample on etiquette, I did some searches for the topic though came with nothing.
I have some dust/dirt issues inside the 1640xl of a user at my work and I want to clean it out.
Quite simply the thing is like fort knox! Anyone know how I can get into it?
Or of any online mauals that show how, which I also looked for without success.
Thanks

Dear Glenbow Museum

perhaps Epson support staff will provide helpful pieces of information?
I am (un)fortunately lacking experience in that field... ;)

Kind regards

Well that's a good assumption yes, but unfortunately I think the only help they'll give is to say "send it to us". I realise they know best, but we also want to avoid the cost of sending a large scanner to them by post. Their own mannuals mention not to do it yourself and request for sending it to them.

Glenbow Meseum,

Perhaps they offer on-site service and will send someone to you Vs you sending it to them?
