LaserSoft Imaging

My Epson Perfection 10000XL connected to a PC running WXP and Silverfast 6.4.1r2 AI is extremely slow when transferring 1-bit images to Photoshop. It takes about 3 minutes from the scan is done until it shows up in Photoshop. Small files (10k) or big ones (10M) makes no difference. Greyscale and color appears in seconds. Scanning 1-bit to file is instant, scanning in Epson Scan to Photoshop is normal.

I've also tried on a computer running W2000, and it had the same problems. On a Mac though it works fast in any scanning mode.

Is this a bug in Silverfast, or am I missing some setting?

not really a bug, but of course limiting your productivity quite a deal.
However, this issue could be sorted out and will be remedied with an update to version 6.4.1r4 (not available yet, but to come to our website in early March).
