Is AI Studio 6.4.1 r1 for Epson 10000XL OS X only?

Is AI Studio 6.4.1 r1 for Epson 10000XL OS X only? I do not see an OS 9 updater for AI Studio 6 for this scanner. Only Win and OS X. Does this mean it isn't OS 9 compatible?

Studio Versions are indeed only available for OS-X and MS Windows operating systems.

Is this why I am freezing when scanning in PS7 and AI Studio 6.4 on OS 9? (see previous topic) Does it just NOT work in OS 9? Why does it install then?
We have SilverFast AI (non-studio) 6.2 for an Epson 1680 scanner being used in OS 9. Can we just install that version on the G4 with the 10000XL and plug in the other serial number to make it work under OS 9?

There is indeed a problem with our OS 9 implemetation for this scanner. We just learned about this yesterday. A fix will be available shortly. With this fixed version, Silverfast AI 6 will run in OS 9, but the studio features are not available in OS 9, in generally speaking. Those rely on certain functions from the operating system, only available in OS-X.
