hi, can you help, i cnt find the focus button. i am using a n epson 1640su and my scans are coming out soft, i have read that you need to re focus scan from 2.5 to 2.0 but i cant find the focus button anywhere. i am using silver fast AI with the latest update, win xp and ps7. previously i would scan qwith the epson software zand the scans came out pin sharp.
need this asap as i have clients waiting.

Dear Jim Kelly,

the focus button is only available to scanners which support a manual or software driven focus. (often filmscanners only!)

If you need to sharpen your pictures try the USM filter, please.
