My ES1000C Epson Scanner is show in Microsoft Hardware Compatability Site as being XP compatible. It is a SCSI Scanner. the Adaptec AHA 1510 SCSI card is XP compatabile also. When I run the XP upgrade advisor, it shows that the Epson Twain will not work under XP. A technician at Epson told me that they are not supporting the Twain driver for my scanner in XP. He pointed me to Silverfast and told me that I would need to get an XP compatible "third party" driver. I downloaded the demo and it works perfectly in my Win ME platform. After downloading, I reran the upgrade advisor and it points out that Silverfast is "not" compatible with XP. Is there any work going on to make the demo version (and ultimately the full version) compatible with the XP Platform. I am holding my breath that you will say YES!
