Seeing the posts noting that there are no plans to support the Perfection 1260 has made my scanning endeavors tedious. Owners of this humble scanner are forced to use the crappy Epson software.javascript:emoticon(':(')
Does anyone know why SilverFast does not want to support the 1260?

Dear Miercos,
we do not support the Perfection 1260 officially, but you could try to download the
Demo version for the Perfection 1670 - chances are good that it will work
.
