Cancel batch processing Silverfast SE Plus 8.8?

Is there a way to cancel an batch process in Silverfast SE Plus 8.8? As of now it seems I must cancel each image individually which is both time consuming and causes needless wear and tear on my Epson V850.

Dear user,
You can cancel an entire batch by holding the <alt> key while clicking the cancel button in the scan progress dialog.
