LaserSoft Imaging

When scanning a 6x7 positive with iSRD on, the scanner goes through the operations and after physically scanning, freezes during the processing stage. When turning off iSRD, it will scan and save without fail. I am scanning at 3200 DPI and exporting to 24bit TIFF. I have used iSRD scanning 35mm color negatives and it works great. I am running a Mac Pro with Yosemite 10.10.5.

Dear user,

what kind of film material are you scanning?
Is it maybe a very dense material like Kodachrome?
That could cause issues when calculating the corrections.
Otherwise please use the "Request online support" option from the SilverFast Help menu to contact us.

I was using Provia 100F. It seems I tricked it into working by first scanning 35mm with iSRD and then switching over to 6x7. Haven't had the problem since.
