it8 problem (newbie)

Hi

I purchased a IT8 target from Silverfast some time ago and all worked well.
However now when I try to calibrate the scan seems to work but I can only get as far as the message "searching for reference file" and no further.

Can anyone tell me whats wrong? Once I did get a message saying "deltaE to large" cant remember full message.

Using Epson V750, Silverfast AI 8 studio fully updated Windows 7 64bit fully updated.

Dear Brian,

The target you are using is not one of our targets but one from Monaco. Our targets have bar-codes to automatically identify the corosponding reference file.
You will have to get the required reference file from them. The reference file describes the target's "to-be" values and is required for the calibration process.
It must be in plain text (.txt) file format.
