Several sources on the net state, that the Perfection 2450 is being discontinued.

On Epson's sites this is not directly announced, but the product is "currently" not available on Epson's US online-store.
Reasons are said to be that Epson wants to push their (not nearly comparable) 2400 scanner.
This is particularly sad since I had ordered one about 4-5 weeks ago (and not yet received).
If all this is true, it shows how much Epson cares about the semipro market. Maybe then the semipro market should rather care for other brands ...
Does anybody else have similar infos? Especially Lasersoft should be aware of this.

New Epson Scanner coming?

A new Epson scanner is very likely to be coming. Just to let you know, it will be an even better one!

GT-9700F and GT-9800F, right?

But 2450 is still continued selling in Singapore.
