Silverfast AI Studio 8.0 to 8.2

I upgraded directly due to a long pause between scanning sessions. I did not pay much attention to the first Silverfast upgrade process, but while watching the HDR software upgrade messages I noticed a mention of new scanner profiles inclusive of the Epson 700.

A) Am I right in assuming that new profiles were provided for both the scanning software as well as HDR?

B) Will the new profile affect the quality of the scans? (That is, should I rescan my slides?)

Dear customer,

We added some NegaFix profiles.
These are included in both the scan software and HDR.
They do not directly influence quality other than providing dedicated profiles for a few more films.
