se 5.5 came with my new pie 1800 silver

I downloaded the update on the site but it will only go in demo mode. Am I missing something on installing this? The load window won't take the serial number off the install disk I received with the scanner. How do you install the update? If it isn't going to work then how do I uninstall it from demo mode?

LSI distinguishes between SilverFast SE software that came with the scanner and SilverFast SE software that can be purchased online.

You problably downloaded the online-purchase software update.
Please download SilverFast "bundle" SE.
