I am reading focus point manual for Epson ESG11000.
In the option of 5 focus control feature, I found 4th option "pick AF point", but I cannot understand what this means.
What is difference from other "Manual focus"or "AF off".
Please explain it.

Manual desrciption:
Pick AF point: Set the focus point manually. Just left-click inside the actual scan frame at that position you would like the image to be focussed. SilverFast adjusts the focus offset automatically before performing the final scan.

Manual Focus: Set the focus point and focus manually. Just left-click inside the actual
scan frame at that position you would like the image to be focussed. A Focus Preview
dialog will open and SilverFast starts a prescan of that area.

Dear customer,

The Pick AF point allows you to set a different location for the automatic focus.
This is for example used for placing the automatic focus off-center to compensate for curved film material.

The Manual focus allows you to select a location for focussing and then set the exact focus value manually using a slider and preview thumbnails.

The AF off deactivates the focus entirely and uses a fix-focus setting.

kind regards,
Arne Ketelhohn.
