Gamma values in Silverfast SE 6 on Perfection 2450 Photo

What gamma value do you guys find best when scanning prints, negatives and slides on the 2450?

You can use the defaults, which are 1.8 for reflective and 2.0 for transparency.
The gamma might also be dependent on the images itself. Greates values make your images more bright, lower values make them darker.
