Epson 4990 MF film holder vs. betterscanning.com?

Am a new member. In searching I see some use of the Betterscanning.com MF glass holder. Just wondering if you have compared results between the betterscanning.com holder and the stock holder that is shipped with the Epson scanner. I am leaning toward going back to the stock holder. As yet, with just a few scans under my belt, I fail to see a focus problem using the stock holder. Other input is appreciated.

Dear customer,

we so far have not tested these holders.
But there are holders available which allow better hight adjustment which is the only way to influence the focus point.

Arne, thanks for the reply. Since posting this I have found the stock medium format film holder supplied with the machine works just fine. What bothers me about the betterscan tool is the addition of another piece of glass. The additional dust particles almost doubled along with stray fibers which do not show up with the standard holder. I do not find a focus issue. Will put the betterscan holder up for sale on eBay. Love my Silverfast SE software. You have done a fine job with version 8.
