IT8 Calibration works fine with transparency target of EZcolor:
IT8.7/1-1993
MONT45:2011:05
and I use it with the "MONT45.2011.05.txt" file.
BUT, why IT8 Calibration not work with reflective target? I use reflective target of EZcolor:
IT8.7/2-1993
MONR2011:05-01
Version 2
and I use it with the "MONR2011.05.01.mrf" file.
Why?
These targets came with EZcolor but I don't use EZcolor software because it is not compatible with my Mac OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2). I only use these targets.
And of course, I don't use "Auto IT8" checkbox / option.

Re: IT8 Calibration not work with reflective target
Dear customer,
SilverFast can only use cleartext .txt reference files.
The .mrf file is a proprietary file format which can only be used by Monaco software.
kind regards,
Arne Ketelhohn.

Re: IT8 Calibration not work with reflective target
OK. But what is the solution? Can I copy-paste content of the .mrf file to the .txt file and use this for calibration?

Re: IT8 Calibration not work with reflective target
Sorry I do not know if it is possible to convert the data in the file to a readable txt format.
It is the manufacturer's decision not to allow other software like SilverFast to access this information.
You could contact them about this matter maybe they are able to help you with a readable file.
kind regards,
Arne Ketelhohn.
