LaserSoft Imaging

Got a new Epson Perfection V750-Pro that came bundled with Silverfast Ai. Got the scanner to work but for the life of me I cannot seem to get the SRD function to work. When I press the toolbar button..it toggles between the SRD icon and the SRD icon with a tiny plus sign...but I never get any dialog box to set parameters nor does the scan seem to have dust removed.

The Digital Ice function works...but I am starting a batch of Kodachromes and would love to use the SRD on them.

I'd like to figure this out...I've taken in about 1500 slides from clients in the past couple days.....

Any suggestions? I'm sure I'm missing a step somewhere....

iSRD is only available in SilverFast 8.
If you purchased a new device in the last three months you can check for a free up-grade on our website.

Okay...now I'm confused. Isn't SRD a software based dust removal option? Shouldn't that work in version 6.6?

I probably need new glasses.

SRD is activated by clicking ICE button until the SRD menu comes up.
