The SS120 seems perfect for 6x17 panorama scans-but I can only scan 6x9 max. Why?? PLEASE make it happen! It would be a great asset for your company, if you'd find a solution that would make it possible to scan panoramic images.

I asked this question of polaroid a while before it even jit the streets for folk to buy. Bottom line is that the carrier travels in two distinct stages of around 90mm. This is a hardware limitation and so true panoramas of the size you quote cannot be done. However, Polaroid have found way of doing a two stage scan and blending/stiching the image together before transfering the stiched image to Photoshop. Alas they haven't yet made the trick available to others. Maybe soon! (added later - February/March 02)

BTW: you can now do 35mm panoramas with a new film holder. Although, I'm not sure if SliverFast has been updated to include the feature.
