Dear Jeong hyun Kim

seems there was no ticket opened yet and I thought of another customer.
Please excuse me.

Can you please address me with you question via the trouble report form, so I can quickly help you out?

TIA and best regards

Dear transformers

indeed only 20 digit style SilverFast serials can be used for both scanners. If you possess a 30 digit serial for a SilverFast Polaroid Sprintscan 120 version, please don't hesitate to contact me (best via the trouble report form) to get a free cross-grade serial for the SilverFast Microtek Artixscan 120 version.
Be sure to mention your Polaroid serial and have it registered before contacting me.
Thank you in anticipation of your kind co-operation.

Best regards

Hello all,

I would again like to thank the good folks at LaserSoft Imaging. I received the firmware chip from Umax/Microtek and after a quick install and a download from this site I am up and running with my "new" Microtek 120tf. If anyone needs help/instructions on opening their SS120 feel free to email me.

Thanks again,

Seth

Dear Sonny,

I've got the same problem. I've registered my version, emailed support and got a ticket opened (I think?), but still get the same response...

https://www.silverfast.com/sf-download/ ... roduct=383 <= As you let me know

But I only see follow messages.

Error:
SilverFast serial number is valid, however for a different SilverFast type or scanner

Could you check that a ticket has been opened?

regards

Dan

Firmware Versions

I have read mention of the 1.7 Firmware Yet all that I see available on the U.S. Microtek site is 1.6. I just recieved my EEPROM from Germany with the 1.7 already on it and I seem to be having a software problem with Silverfast always scanning the 1st frame of 6x9 in the medium format holders even when frame 2 is chosen. Could this be due to the 1.7 firmware not being supported yet by Silverfast? Perhaps I should downgrade to 1.6?
