LaserSoft Imaging

I get the above error message when I try to prescan b&w negatives, I am using OS10.3; Silverfast 6.21d1.
I am scanning from Photoshop 7.0. on a Polaroid SprintScan 4000.
I can scan slides without any problems. I have 750 megs of memory. What am I doing wrong?

As an addendum to my previous post. I was, however, able to scan without prescanning and get a reasonably good scan, which sounds odd. How come I am able to scan a b&w negative into a 45 meg file, but unable to prescan?

I have the same problem!

I'm using SFE-6.4.4r6

I have 9gigs of ram... whats up with the no memory error...
