I just ran into some strange and frustrating behavior. I have a Polaroid SS120 and the latest version of 5.5. If I try to scan frame 3 of a 6x7 strip, after the preview succeeds, and I proceed to RGB scan, after calibration, and right before the scan starts, I get an error dialog with words such as unable to StartScan(). Things work fine with this frame with Polacolor Insight. Any ideas? Currently, I work around by flipping the negative, but I shouldn't have to.

Dear Anonymous,
what is your latest version of SilverFast 5.5? and on which operating system do you work?

Hi,
I, too, have experienced this problem. I am running Windows ME, Photshop 6.0.1 with Silverfast 5.5.0r06 (plugin) on an Athlon 1.33Ghz PC. Otherwize, Silverfast works great!

Well, I went and installed the version that came out after my initial inquiry (5.5.0r14) and it seems that I can now scan frame 3 as well as the other two. Was this a planned fix?
