LaserSoft Imaging

This is the first time i'm using this software (AI 6.0) and i'm trying to do the IT8 calibration. I placed the slide the normal way, emulsion side down, like i do with Polacolor Insight, but the image in the preview is flipped up horizontally. I tried the buttons on the little densitometer window, but it makes nodifference, i did prescan again,still the same. The little prrview in densitometer is correct , and it changes everytime i hit the mirror horizontal button, but it makes no difference on the actual scan window.
What am i missing? Shouldn't this be done with a simple click?
Am i supposed to place the slide emulsion side up?

Please use the flip/rotate icons beside the prescan window, instead of the icons in the denistometer.
The icons beside the prescan, flip and rotate the entire prescan. The icons in the denistometer do flip and rotate a single frame for scanning.

Eric, thanks for your help, i figured it out. I was trying the densitometer window, because, using the interface first time, i looked up the FAQ/ Knowledgebase on the support section and that is what was suggested:

Perhaps Silverfast would be kind enough to review those, as the interface is already unintuitive enough without inaccurate instructions.
