SS4000 w/LS6.0 Question

I am considering upgrading from LS5.02 to 6.0 for my Polaroid SS4000 (not a plus). The person I talked to on the telephone today could not provide specific information on whether all the new functions of 6.0 work with the SS4000. I see there are different versions for the SS4000 and SS4000 plus. I understand that one of the better improvements of the plus is the fact that frame registration is much more accurate and multiple scans can be done with LS6 to eliminate noise in difficult areas of an image. Does this affect anything else like SRD, GANE, etc.? Thanks.

Dear Barry,

The new tools GANE, SRD, SC2G, etc. are pure software solutions. That means that these functions apply digital corrections on the image data supplied by the scanner. These tools enhance or modify the image data coming from the scanner (SilverFast Ai) in the same way as with digital images (SilverFast HDR).

Just download a demo and give a try.

Best regards.
